Pickleball Positive Communities
is a Smash Hit!
We are bringing Pickleball Positive to underserved communities

“Thank you, Pickleball Positive Communities! This is a sport our kids really need. Everyone can get involved and be successful. You don’t have to be the top athlete—pickleball keeps our kids moving, and that’s what we need.” - Barbara Palmer, PE/Health Teacher at MS 302.

Our surveys show that students in our program are:

Building confidence, even becoming "super confident" in trying new things.

Becoming more mindful of how positive behaviors shape both their game and their daily lives.

Forming deeper relationships with their peers.

Calling our program ‘super fun’.

Quickly elevating their pickleball skills.
How students describe our program:

“It’s amazing to see these students embrace the game so quickly. More importantly, they’re gaining confidence, having fun, building relationships, and developing mindfulness around behaviors that will benefit them in their future endeavors.” - Betty Ng, PPC President.

Our Progress and What’s Next
Since our founding in 2024, Pickleball Positive Communities has delivered school-based,
after-school, camp, and special event programs serving low-income communities
across New York City—including the South Bronx and Lower East Side—as well as in Westchester.
Our work reflects a broader vision: to expand our programs across New York and eventually nationwide, ensuring that more communities can access the transformative power of
pickleball and the essential life skills it builds.

But we can't do it alone...
Why You Matter?

We’re looking for volunteers, partners, and supporters to help us expand our reach and bring this opportunity to even more communities.
Join us in making a difference—one community, one game, one connection, one student at a time.
